Great review on Seattle Post!

At 6.30 this morning, sitting bleary-eyed and pyjamaed in front of my computer screen, I was amazed and delighted to see that the Seattle Post had published this interview!

The next novel

One of the fantastic things about getting a novel published, assuming that sales go well and people enjoy the book, is that there is a guaranteed read for the next novel. Do I have a next novel? Absolutely. It’s a YA thriller with a stubbornly cheerful teenage protag called Ally Jones, a girl whose eccentric university professor father has been kidnapped. Her search for him takes her on a journey that includes the London of the Black Death and Great Plague, the secrets of nursery rhymes, and opens up a dark and terrifying world where the only answer to a Norse end of the world lies in the grammatical secrets of an ancient map of a medieval English castle.

Now I’ve just got to find time to write it.
